Myles Munroe’s Prophetic Dream, Premonition of Death; Plus: Charisa Munroe is Alive After All! Here’s a Statement by Her and Her Brother
Teresa Neumann, Aimee Herd (Nov 13, 2014)
“There is nothing left. I am ready to die. That’s how I want to die because there is nothing else for me left to die. When you die, die like I am planning to die. Empty. It is finished.” -Pastor Myles Munroe
(The Bahamas)—As memorials to Myles Munroe continue to flood in from around the world, news reports have surfaced describing a profound prophetic dream he had shortly before dying, as well as a “premonition of his own death” while he and his wife were ministering in Africa several weeks ago. (Photo via Twitter)
In an interview with Jeff Koinange on Kenya’s KTN JKL Show, Munroe said: “I want to challenge every Kenyan to go to the cemetery and disappoint the graveyard. Die like the Apostle Paul who said I have finished my course, I have kept the faith and I have been poured out like a drink offering. There is nothing left. I am ready to die. That’s how I want to die because there is nothing else for me left to die. When you die, die like I am planning to die. Empty. It is finished.”
In a recent YouTube video Munroe is also seen talking about a profound dream he had. At the time, he believed the dream was for a message he was set to deliver at the Leadership Conference in Grand Bahama. However, considering the plane crash meant he never shared the dream at the conference; it has taken on a much deeper significance.
In the dream, Munroe saw a track and field athlete lying in his coffin, clutching a baton. “It was about people dying with a baton instead of passing it on,” he said. “I was thinking, the young person who’s supposed to lead next has to go to the casket, pry the baton out of the dead man’s hand to take it to the next leg.”
“We are in a leadership dilemma,” he continued. “The reality is, effective leaders always prepare their replacements. People would rather die than pass it [the baton] on, so you have young leaders having to fight to get it. Great leaders pass it on before they die and they live to see the other runner run.”
CBN also reports today that in Israel, both Jews and Christians, are mourning the loss of Munroe and his wife.
“Myles Munroe was a key leader of the global evangelical movement with a big heart for Israel,” the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem said in a statement. “His tragic passing is a loss for Christians and for the Jewish people he loved.”
“Israel had no better friend,” said Knesset Christian Allies Caucus Director Josh Reinstein. “His faith and love of Israel was an inspiration to all of us.”
A statement from surviving family members, Myles Munroe Jr and his sister Charisa, read in part: “We will not allow death to claim any victory, but we celebrate the life and legacy of each individual. This tragedy does not mark the end; the end of life, the end of a vision, the end of a journey, nor the end of a purpose, but it marks the new beginning of an era… (Photo: Charisa and Myles Munroe Jr)
“So let’s not mourn their deaths but let’s celebrate their lives and find joy in knowing that although God may not explain Himself, He will reveal Himself. In the words of our father, ‘The greatest tragedy in life is not death, but a life without a purpose.’ We know there is a greater purpose in all of this and we are now the vessels for this new vision and legacy to be carried on.”

School District Near Nation’s Capital Takes Christmas Off the Calendar as Members of Another Religion Complain
Kyle Olson (Nov 13, 2014)
The suburban DC district stripped Christmas and Jewish holy days from its official calendar after these parents got together and complained, begging the question: “Does a nation stand for something, or everything, and therefore nothing?”
(Rockville, MD)—Christmas is now just December 25th in the Montgomery County school district.
The suburban DC district stripped Christmas and Jewish holy holidays from its official calendar after Muslim parents complained.
But that’s not good enough as they say the move does “nothing to gain parity and a day off for the Muslim holiday of Eid,” according to WTOP.
“Equality is really what we’re looking for,” Saqib Ali, co-chair of Equality for Eid, says. “Simply saying we’re not going to call this Christmas, and we’re not going to call this Yom Kippur, and still closing the schools, that’s not equality.”
CAIR isn’t happy either.
“What’s really concerning to us is that similar conditions weren’t placed on any other faith community,” a representative of the group, Zainab Chaudry, says, the station reports.
The district is attempting to decouple the breaks from school and religious holidays by calling them “winter break” and “student holidays.”
But school board member Michael Durso says unless the Muslim’s complaints aren’t addressed, “it comes off as insensitive, and I just think we cannot afford to be in that light.”
According to NBC-4, school employee Samira Hussein has campaigned for 20 years to have the Muslim holiday added to the school calendar.
“The Eid is just the same exact as Christmas day or Easter day or Yom Kippur,” she says.
School representatives note absenteeism isn’t much different on the Muslim holidays.
“The absentee rate on the Eid holidays, when they’ve fallen on a school day, haven’t been considerably higher or lower than it is on any other given day,” spokesman Dana Tofig tells the news station.
The Washington Post reports the board voted 7-1 to stop recognizing the Christian and Jewish holidays.
“This seems the most equitable option,” said board member Rebecca Smondrowski, who proposed the idea, according to the paper.
Mormons Reeling From Truth Finally Revealed by Their Leadership About Joseph Smith
Teresa Neumann (Nov 13, 2014)
“Even devout and quite conservative women [in the Mormon church] are really troubled by it.” -Kristine Haglund
(Salt Lake City, UT)—From child-abuse convictions to fraud to money-laundering, every denomination, it seems, has a day of reckoning whereby what’s been hidden is eventually exposed—for all the world to see and judge. (Photo via NYTimes)
After all, assured that sin will ultimately find us out, scripture promises that “For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God.” KJB, 1 Peter 4:17.
Now, after over 100 years of concealing the truth, the Mormon church, in what appears to be damage control due to the huge number of Mormons who have had access to speculative reports on the internet, has come forward with a bombshell revelation of their own.
It’s a big one, centering on their founder Joseph Smith.
Several sources report the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has “quietly” posted essays on their official website dealing with a number of controversial topics regarding the church. The one on Smith, reveals that he had as many as 40 wives, including several who were already married to someone else, and one who was only 14 years old.
The bombshell revelation has shocked devout Mormons around the world who for years were led to believe, according to church teaching, was a loving and loyal spouse to his only wife Emma.
Not only that, but the confession by church leaders indicate that Smith’s polygamous relationships were an “excruciating ordeal” for Emma. For many women in polygamous relationships—not just Mormons but Muslims and certain animistic and cultic religions also—sharing a husband with others is unbearable.
A New York Times article quoted the reactions of several Mormon women to the news, noting that Kristine Haglund, editor of Dialogue: A Journal of Mormon Thought, said, “even devout and quite conservative women are really troubled by it.”
Emily Jensen, a blogger from Farmington, Utah, wrote, “Joseph Smith was to me a practically perfect prophet and this is true for a lot of people… this is not the church I grew up with, this is not the Joseph Smith I love.”

Author R.T. Kendall Prayed Salvation Prayer with Yasser Arafat: “I’m not saying I know that he’s saved… I wouldn’t be surprised”
Aimee Herd (Nov 13, 2014)
“He took my hand and squeezed it. He was sending me a signal and I knew I was getting through.” -R.T. Kendall
A Christian Post report notes that Christian author and speaker, R.T. Kendall met with Palestinian leader, Yasser Arafat several times, and even prayed with him. (Photo via USAToday)
In fact, Arafat even wept while watching the “The Passion of the Christ” movie.
Says Kendall: “It wouldn’t surprise me to see him in Heaven. I’ll tell you why. I prayed with him five times, anointed him with oil, I gave him a [salvation] prayer… I’m not saying I know that he’s saved; I’m saying I wouldn’t be surprised.”
According to the report, Arafat and other members of the Palestine Liberation Organization had watched Kendall’s copy of “The Passion Of The Christ” and that Arafat was weeping following its viewing.
Kendall then reportedly held Arafat’s hand to pray with him.
“He took my hand and squeezed it,” Kendall said. “He was sending me a signal and I knew I was getting through.”

Actor Kirk Cameron is on a Special Quest to Save Christmas
Michael Ireland (Nov 13, 2014)
“Christmas is for everyone because everyone needs a Savior,” says Kirk Cameron in a broad interview addressing not only his new film (in which St. Nicholas “looks a lot more like Willy Robertson) but also the crisis of Christian persecution and other ills afflicting today’s world.
(Santa Ana, CA)—Hollywood actor Kirk Cameron is on a special quest—to save Christmas.
In an interview with Assist News Service founder, Dan Wooding, for his Front Page Radio show, Cameron shared about his latest movie, “Kirk Cameron’s Saving Christmas,” that will open in select theaters on November 14, 2014, for two weeks only.
The popular actor said he thinks Christmas is the most important holiday of the year. “I love Christmas,” he said. “I love everything about it. It’s my favorite time of year—I just love when all the Christmas cookies are being baked, love the smell of chestnuts being roasted over a fire. I love Christmas trees and the Christmas carols setting up the nativity, everything. But Christmas is falling on hard times these days.
“It seems more and more commercialism and secularism is pushing ‘the Baby in the manger’ to the back seat. And while many might like to see Christmas deleted from the calendar, I think that Christmas ought to be put front and center especially at this time of year.”
Cameron then commented that his new feature film, which he says, is going to teach people a lot about the true meaning of Christmas.
“This is a story about my sister who is throwing a Christmas party at her house and everyone’s having a great time—except her husband who is sitting in his car in the driveway sulking and complaining that all the decorations and festivities are not what Christmas is all about. And so I go out to the car and teach him how to see Christmas through new eyes.
This is my real sister, named Bridget—many people know my sister Candace from Full House and Dancing With The Stars—but my sister Bridget is in this movie with me, and if people thought Candace was a great dancer in Dancing With The Stars, wait till they see my sister Bridget doing some of her hip hop dance moves and me joining in with some break dancing!”
The movie is going to be released in theaters all over the country November 14. “So that is opening weekend, and the important weekend for people to get their tickets,” he said. ” In fact, we’re encouraging them to get their tickets early and plan ahead with their family or their church and they can get their tickets now at www.Savingchristmas.com. If they go to the website they can type in their zip code and the theater near them will show up on the screen.”
Kirk Cameron said he doesn’t star as himself in the movie, but plays a different character with a different name, and added that he wrote it together with a couple of other people on his team. The movie, he stated, has been in production since last Christmas. (Photo via SavingChristmas.com)
What is his message to people who’ve become sick of watching all the Christmas ads on TV?
“Well, that’s what Charlie Brown said in his Charlie Brown Christmasspecial that he’s really not sure what Christmas is all about, and he kept asking people to tell him. ‘Will someone please tell me what Christmas is all about because all these other things seem to have gotten in the way?’ We can see that again today where so much of the commercialism and all of the advertisements can really crowd out the baby Jesus.
“But there’s also a group of people that want to say that we shouldn’t celebrate the birth of Christ at all and secularists would love to pull down every manger scene and get rid of it. And there’s even people in the church [who] want to say if you want to honor Christ you should not celebrate Christmas because Christmas originally, they say, was a pagan holiday. So Christmas trees are bad, and St. Nicholas is bad, and gift giving really misses the point. And I strongly disagree—that’s my point in Saving Christmas.”
Cameron continued: “I think that there is an increasing hostility towards, not just Christmas, but all things Christian here in America. Now you know, I’m believing for a revival in the hearts of people. You can see a culture that’s turned its heart away from God. We look at the founding of our country, and Benjamin Franklin said that it was very difficult to go anywhere and find someone who was not a Christian. And so, we’ve certainly made a big shift, but I think Christmas is a story that is so powerful that it can turn the hearts of a nation back. And that’s why I want to highlight it in Saving Christmas.”
If Cameron was one of the Wise Men, visiting the baby Jesus, and he could have said something is there anything he would have liked to have said to Jesus?
“Oh, I don’t think, I don’t believe so, I don’t think I would have said anything, but I would have simply fallen on my knees in worship!”
How does the story of Christmas trees and St. Nicholas relate back to God’s ongoing story for his children and the birth of Jesus?
“When I grew up, I certainly knew all about Santa Claus, but I didn’t know anything about St. Nicholas. And what I bring out in ‘Saving Christmas’ is the truth behind the real Santa Claus. And Santa Claus is a character wrapped up in fairytale packaging over the centuries. But when you take all of that away you actually have a man named Nicholas who was a faithful Christian man who defended the doctrine of the trinity at the council of Nicaea and got into a fight with a heretic in order to keep the Nicene Creed intact, with Jesus remaining God in human flesh. So Nicholas was a very important man in church history and he was also famous for giving gifts to children and helping the poor.”
Does he bring that out in the movie?
“Well, we reenact the church council of Nicaea, and Nicholas getting into an altercation with the heretic at the church council. We reenact this whole thing.”
He then quipped, “In ‘Saving Christmas,’ St. Nicholas looks a lot more like Willy Robertson.
So what does Cameron hope people will take away from it besides being astounded that he’s a good dancer? (Photo via SavingChristmas.com)
“Well, I hope that people will walk out of the theater and break into uproarious celebration and wrap both their arms around their Christmas trees, and get out their cook book and cook the most delightful meal they’ve ever made, and tell everyone about the story of this great king’s kingdom and invite them in,” Cameron said.
About Cameron’s sister, Bridget, being in the movie, he said she’s never been in the movies before, “but being in a family with two actors, me and my sister Candace [Cameron Bure], we’ve always said that the real entertainer in the family is our sister Bridget and she’s never been on a television program. So we’re excited for people to watch Bridget and I together, not just dancing, but acting together as well.”
Cameron was asked what was Christmas like growing up for him?
“Christmas for me growing up was a great time of year,” he told Wooding. Like I said, it’s always been my favorite time of year. And so we had the house decorated and my mom would always go to great lengths to make the Christmas tree just perfect with bows and ribbons and lights. We always looked forward to presents under the tree Christmas morning. You know, we’ve taken a lot of those Christmas celebrations and traditions and brought them into our house.
“My family today what we add to it is the Christmas carols all about the birth of Christ Christmas Eve. We have the great big dinner at our house and we talk to our kids about the angels and the shepherds and the wise men and the birth of Christ and Mary and Joseph and really use it as a time to celebrate this holy season.”
“Christmas is for everyone because everyone needs a Savior. I’d start there, and then I’d get tickets to see ‘Saving Christmas’ on November 14th with your family, and let that give you inspiration to make this the best Christmas ever.”
As most Americans will be celebrating Christmas here in relative freedom, what does Cameron think about the people in Syria, Iraq or Pakistan who won’t be able to sit down for a nice meal like we do and open gifts—they’ll be in a refugee camp, they’ll be suffering an awful lot of pain? How can we as Christians here in the West encourage them? Is there anything we can do?
“I think we need to be praying for them,” he replied. “It’s so easy to overlook what’s going on in other parts of the world when we live in such relative freedom and abundance and prosperity. So we need to be praying for them. And what should give us great hope is that there are missionaries that go to these places to bring aid and to bring the Gospel.
“And remember America got to be what it is today because of some persecuted Christians. When you look at the separatists who were facing terrible persecution under the tyrant of their day and what they did is ultimately they wrapped their arms around their Bible and their children and they got on a boat and they went somewhere and they started a new community as families as churches which grew into the greatest nation on the planet that sent missionaries out all over the world to bring Heaven to the four corners of the Earth.
“My hope and prayer is that countries that don’t know the Gospel, that don’t know Christ, will have just a few who will be faithful and will share the Gospel. Even if it’s not publicly, if they’ll do it privately, treasure these things in their own heart like Mary did and share it with their children and the power of that Gospel is the power that will bring Heaven to Earth over time.
“So we need to be working together through prayer, through support, and through a big celebration here in America where we still do have that freedom, because that’s important as well. We cannot hide it under a bushel. We should not NOT celebrate Christmas because others in other places cannot celebrate it. We should celebrate it more loudly and pray for those there so that they will have the strength to be able to hold on during these difficult times until freedom comes.”

“Treasure in Saliva”: Scientists Surprised by Powerful Medical Potential in Human Spit
News Release (Nov 13, 2014)
UCLA scientists identified more than 400 circular RNAs in human saliva—the first discovery of circular RNA in saliva or any body fluid—including 327 forms that were previously unknown.
“While I am in the world, I am the Light of the world. When [Jesus] had said this, He spit on the ground, made some mud with the saliva, and put it on the man’s eyes.” -John 9:6
(Los Angeles, CA)—UCLA research could lead to a simple saliva test capable of diagnosing—at an early stage—diabetes and cancer, and perhaps neurological disorders and autoimmune diseases.
The study, the most comprehensive analysis ever conducted of RNA molecules in human saliva, reveals that saliva contains many of the same disease-revealing molecules that are contained in blood. It was published online [recently] by the peer-reviewed journal Clinical Chemistry and will be published in the journal’s January 2015 special print issue, “Molecular Diagnostics: A Revolution in Progress.”
“If we can define the boundaries of molecular targets in saliva, then we can ask what the constituents in saliva are that can mark someone who has pre-diabetes or the early stages of oral cancer or pancreatic cancer—and we can utilize this knowledge for personalized medicine,” said Dr. David Wong, a senior author of the research and UCLA’s Felix and Mildred Yip Endowed Professor in Dentistry.
Wong said the test also holds promise for diagnosing Type 2 diabetes, gastric cancer and other diseases. “If you don’t look in saliva, you may miss important indicators of disease,” Wong said. “There seems to be treasure in saliva, which will surprise people.”
RNA, widely known as a cellular messenger that makes proteins and carries out DNA’s instructions to other parts of the cell, is now understood to perform sophisticated chemical reactions and is believed to perform an extraordinary number of other functions, at least some of which are unknown.
Wong’s research over the past decade has focused on identifying biomarkers in saliva. His laboratory discovered that some of the same RNA that is inside human cells are also present in saliva and can be used to detect diseases—a surprising finding, he said, because enzymes in saliva can degrade RNA, making the mouth “a hostile environment.”
The new research is a collaboration with Xinshu (Grace) Xiao, the paper’s other senior author and a UCLA associate professor of integrative biology and physiology. Using state-of-the-science genomics and bioinformatics, the researchers analyzed 165 million genetic sequences.
Among the many forms of RNA are some unusual ones that live in the mouth and in cells. For example, it wasn’t known until very recently that RNA comes in a circular form; the linear form has long been known. But the UCLA scientists identified more than 400 circular RNAs in human saliva—the first discovery of circular RNA in saliva or any body fluid—including 327 forms that were previously unknown.
Circular RNA’s function in saliva is not entirely understood, although it does serve as a sponge for tiny RNA molecules called microRNAs, which bind to it.
“Circular RNAs in saliva may be protecting other RNAs,” said Xiao, who also is a faculty member in the UCLA College and a member of UCLA’s Molecular Biology Institute. It’s likely, she said, that circular RNAs in saliva protect microRNAs from being degraded.
MicroRNAs, which once seemed to be little more than molecular noise, play important roles in many cell types, and have been implicated in cancers and other diseases, Xiao said. One microRNA can regulate hundreds of genes, she said.
The scientists compared microRNA levels in saliva to those in the blood and other body fluids, and found the levels of microRNA in blood and in saliva are very similar—indicating that a saliva sample would be a good measure of microRNAs in the body.
They also found that saliva contains another class of small RNAs, called piwi-interacting RNAs, or piRNAs, which are produced by stem cells, skin cells and germ cells. There are very few piRNAs in blood and most other body fluids, but Xiao’s analysis showed that piRNA are abundant in saliva. Although their function is not yet known, Xiao said they may protect the body from viral infection.
While most RNA molecules translate genetic code from DNA to make proteins, there is also a class called non-coding RNAs that does not.
“Saliva carries with it non-coding RNAs, microRNAs, piRNAs and circRNAs that are biomarkers for disease and health monitoring,” said Wong, who also is associate dean of research at the UCLA School of Dentistry. “Had we not done this collaboration, we would never know that non-coding RNAs, microRNAs, piRNAs and circRNAs exist in saliva.”
Their overriding conclusion is that saliva has tremendous medical and scientific value. In the not-too-distant future, dentists might be able to take saliva samples to analyze for a variety of diseases. And, Wong says, the research could lead to a new category of self-diagnostic devices. “This could indicate that wearable gear that informs you whether you have a disease—even before you have any symptoms—is almost here,” he said.
The scientists, both members of UCLA’s Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center, will continue their research, aiming to better understand the biology behind their findings, including the function of piRNAs.
“With a collaborator like Dr. Xiao, UCLA will continue to spearhead this science,” Wong said. “Now we have the capability and technology to reach deeper and study non-coding RNA, which has never been done.”
“Duck Dynasty’s” John Luke Robertson and Fiancée: God Guides Our Relationship
Teresa Neumann (Nov 13, 2014)
“Find other people who think the same way [about Jesus] because life is all about relationships.” -Luke Robertson
(West Monroe, LA)—Luke Robertson, the oldest son of Willie and Korie Robertson, and his fiancée Mary Kate McEacharn have been boldly sharing the importance of faith in their relationship and how they trust God for their future. (Photo by: Curtis Hilbun)
Speaking to Fox411, Robertson said, “We said in the beginning when we started dating that if our relationship is not centered on God and if we’re not encouraging one another to stay faithful and to just love people, then we have no relationship at all. When I was growing up [my parents] taught me to set my own guidelines, to stay pure.”
Said McEacharn: “I never had a boyfriend before and I had just been waiting and thought God would send someone to me. I was just very particular whenever it came to who I would date and I had to get to know him first and see if he was up to my standards.”
Robertson also shared what he likes to tell fans. “God is real,” he said, “and everything points to that. If He is real, and He’s the God of the Bible, then He loves you and you can stick with Him [because] He’s going to get you through.”
Good Call: Reflections on Faith, Family, and Fowl
(Book by: Jase Robertson with Mark Schlabach)
The new book by Duck Dynasty Star; Jase Roberton!
The closer we look at the Robertson family, the more we discover the substance and authenticity below the surface of these well-known TV characters. In this enlightening book, Jase Robertson gives us a deep look behind his funnyman exterior. In addition to stories of life in the Robertson family and epic tales of hunting of all kinds, readers will get an inside look at Jase’s personal faith in the Creator of the outdoors he so dearly loves:
“My first thoughts about God came in a duck blind as I gazed upon the diversity and beauty of creation. There is nothing in nature that can be reproduced or equaled by humans. None of our computers, microchips, or cell phones can duplicate what God has put forth. Viewing the details of this magnificent earth is better than any sermon from any preacher I have heard about the evidence of God.”
You may think you know all there is to know about the beloved Robertson family…but just wait. This new book by the “good call” duckman, Jase, is laugh-out-loud funny (really), thoughtful, and raw in its honesty.
You’ll find stories about…
Phil in his pre-Christian days—when he hadn’t yet learned the kindness part of Christianity—or any other part, for that matter.
Roughhousing with his brothers on their backyard football field—drawing blood was fair in pursuit of the win.
Jase’s youthful musings about the similarities between women and fish—”I eventually learned the hard way that women are not like fish at all. For one, fish do not have the ability to slap your face because you’re trying to land two at once.”
The innocence of his honeymoon night—”Our first night together was more of an exploratory expedition than a blissful adventure. That’s what happens when neither one of you has had sex before.”
…and his hard-won lessons on living with a yuppie woman—”When Missy saw the frogs in the sink later that morning, she literally passed out!”
You’ll also find hilarious stories about “facial profiling,” as well as amazing stories of the hunt that even non-hunters will enjoy.
And all of this is wrapped in introspective, insightful musings on life, faith, and family. The personal reflections and stories in this exceptional book will inspire you to make your own good calls.
Jase Robertson is the second oldest Robertson son and one of the favorite stars of A&E®’s “Duck Dynasty”®. Jase has been involved in the family business making duck calls since he was a boy. He graduated from Bible college after high school and worked part-time in ministry for two years before becoming Duck Commander’s first paid employee in the mid ’90s.
